Continuing In The Madness

 Moreover I saw under the sun:

In the place of judgment,
Wickedness was there;
And in the place of righteousness,
Iniquity was there.
(Ecclesiastes 3:16)

In light of the terrible killing we've witnessed just this month, shall we continue in the madness and try to make up for human depravity with fruitless gun control, or shall we come now and let us reason together and have an honest discussion.

We can blame the horrific killing of innocent children supposedly safe at school on pseudo-assault weapons or we can look at a morally rotting society long at a decaying state. I wrote in this week's column "Unshackled" in The Truth Newsletter:

We have to deal with the core issue. Man is depraved and when God and His laws are ignored, society splinters and eventually shatters into anarchy and chaos.

We are a splintered society, and the shards of anarchy and chaos are everywhere we step.

It is Christmas week. The angels told the shepherds in the field:

I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.
For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

America needs good tidings of great joy. Long ago in the city of David, that Savior, who is Christ the Lord, was born to each of us.

The Prophet Isaiah foretold us Whom Jesus would be:

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

(Isaiah 9:6)

America desperately needs a Counselor we can call Wonderful. Our country needs to return to Our Mighty God who is the Everlasting Father. This world of despair needs the Prince of Peace.

That is my Christmas Wish.

I wish you Jesus...
